‹ Any same short film is eligible to win in more than one category.

‹ There is no limit to the number of short films that a person can send.

3. OTHER ASPECTS

‹ The prizes for each category will be announced on the website on March 15.

‹ The directors of the selected finalist short films will be informed - once the jury has watched all the short films-, between May 16 and June 1st.

4. LEGAL ASPECTS

‹ The Surfilmfestibal shall never be held responsible for any songs, sounds or images copyrighted by someone else but the author of the short film that enters the competition. The author of the short film will be the sole responsible for copyright infringement.

‹ All the authors, by submitting their short films to the competition, are automatically transferring reproduction rights to the organization so we can all enjoy them in as many ways as possible (media, surfari surf festibal, etc.). If a contestant chooses to hand his/her short clip recorded on a cd/dvd or any other piece of hardware, this item will also become part of the festival and shall not be returned.

‹ The surfilmfestibal does not endorse nor take as its own the implicit messages contained in any of the short films. These express the views and opinions of the author(-s) of the clip solely.

‹ As you very well know, the simple fact of submitting a clip to the surfilmfestibal implies the tacit acceptance of its rules. The Organization shall decide about any unforeseen aspects and reserve the right to modify the rules at any time. If you need more information or want to clarify some point, please write us at info@surfilmfestibal.com. We’ll be glad to help you.
