GRANITO DE ARENA
Granito de Arena is a foundation whose aim is to raise coastal children’s awareness regarding the pollution in the ocean, using surfing as an encouragement. Children relate to the ocean through the surf, they grow an affection and develop a respect which encourages them to take care of it. Originally created in Ecuador, this project has been implemented in many other Central American countries with great success.
